In feng shui, it is believed that "the main door is the mouth of qi, and the Ming Tang gathers wealth." • Road Piercing Inward and Arrow Piercing the Heart (Inauspicious)

  When a road in front of a residence pierces inward, it resembles an arrow, forming an "arrow piercing the heart" configuration. This is believed to cause death to the occupants, and is particularly detrimental to the women of the household and their careers. In modern feng shui, this is known as "reverse bow sha" or "road冲 sha." When the curve of a road resembles a fully drawn bow, with its arc pointing directly at the main door, or when a straight road acts like a sharp arrow directly piercing the main door, the high-speed airflow and magnetic field impact it brings can directly tear apart the protective qi field of the home.
